IDEC2016⑧ The Future IDECs/ これからの大会開催

We had some IDEC meetings this time. We discussed about future IDECs of course. The next one will be held in Israel from 29 March till 6th April. The one in 2018 was supposed to be held in Nepal. But the damage of the earthquake last year was big, they decided to postpone to 2020 and this proposal was passed. Then Ukrainian people proposed to have IDEC in Kiev 2018. We didn't decide about this proposal. We continue to talk about it. Another proposal to host IDEC2019 in Kenya is not officially decided either but quite a few people support this idea.
大会中に将来の大会の開催についても話し合われました。来年はニュージーランドで決めた通りイスラエルで3月29日から4月6日までです。2018年に開催予定だったネパールですが、昨年の地震の影響があり、2020年に開催を延期したいという申し出が大会中にあり、了承されました。2018年が空白になった部分についてはウクライナのキエフで開催したいという希望が寄せられましたが、継続検討となりました。2019年は去年ケニアからの参加者がないままにケニアの開催希望が伝えられ検討していこうということになりました。今年はケニアから一人参加があり、検討を継続します。

IDEC2016⑦Humanity School from Taiwan/ 台湾のヒューマニティスクール

台湾のヒューマニティースクールは演劇が盛んなオルタナティブスクールです。この数年はすっかりIDECの常連となっています。例年、台湾の教育を主題としますが、今年は歴史を簡単に紹介して劇が始まりました。日本の植民地化が台湾の教育史にも大きく関わっています。
Humanity School from Taiwan has a good drama project. In these years, they are regular participants at IDECs. The theme of their drama is Taiwanese history of education and todays' situation. Japanese colonaization affected this history.

IDEC2016⑥Wholistic School・全人フリースクール

Wholistic school is Taiwanese democratic school. Twenty people joined this IDEC. They had a workshop about their school. Their school is a boarding school in rich natural envirnment. Their one week has forteen days: ten activitydays and four day holidays. During holiday, students can go back home or have a trip.
　

全人は台湾のフリースクールです。20人も参加しており、全人についてのワークショップも開きました。全人は寮制のフリースクールで2週間を単位にしています。10日間活動日があり、4日間休日が続きます。そうすることで離れたところにある実家に休日に帰ることができるのです。中にはこの4日間で旅行をするメンバーもいるそうです。

IDEC2016⑤Next IDEC in Israel・来年のIDEC

The next IDEC will be held in Hadera, Israel from 29th March till 6th April. The organizers say the summer in Israel is too hot for foreign visitors. Sometimes, it goes to 40 centidegree. Another reason is the national holiday. So, they decide to have IDEC in spring time. The previous Israeli IDEC was in 2010. Since then they have many changes in the field of education. Now they have "public democratic schools", Education City, etc.
来年のIDECはイスラエルのヘデラ市で開かれます。日程は3月29日から4月6日までです。イスラエルの夏は大変暑く、40度にもなるそうで海外からの参加者には負担が大きすぎるだろうということで決まったそうです。実行委員のメンバーの皆さんはとても熱心で来年のIDECのためのセッションを今大会中に2回開いています。

IDEC2016④IDEC Meeting・IDECミーティング

At this IDEC, we decide to have IDEC meeting every evening. We had the first one. We discussed how do we organize the meeting and bring agendas. Not only future IDEC, we will talk how do we organize the conference and the way of decision making and so on.
今回のIDECではIDECミーティングを毎晩開くことになりました。まず第1回目を初日の8時15分に持ちました。まずはこのミーティングをどんな風に進めるのかについて丁寧に話し合い、今後どんなことについて話し合うのか議題を出し合いました。今後の開催予定についてのみならず、大会での議決の仕方などについても話し合うことになっています。

IDEC2016③Opening IDEC2016

IDEC2016 has just started a few hours ago, People are from more than 40 countries. The biggest number is from Germany. They may be more than Finnish people. Some people are from Africa.
Exciting days have just started.
今年のIDECが開幕しました。40以上の国々から参加者がありました。一番人数が多いのはドイツのようです。もしかするとフィンランドの人より多いかもしれません。

Today we went to "Think Corner of Helsinki Univeristy". It's a kind of science cafe run by Helsinki University. It locates in the city center. They try to share the knowledge with the peopel in the society. Every week ,there a few seminar's or events at the cafe.
今日は市内の中心にあるヘルシンキ大学のサイエンスカフェのシンキコーナーに行きました。大学で発見しているさまざまな知識や学問上の成果を市民と共有するための場です。週末にはトークセッションが開かれ、多くの人が集まるおしゃれな場です。

フィンランドIDEC2016①移動

2016年6月にフィンランドで開かれるIDECに参加するため、移動をしています。旅費を安く上げるために、直行便ではなくアエロフロートでモスクワ経由で向かいます。東京シューレからは朝倉しか参加しませんが、シューレ大学出身者がつくる社会的企業、創造集団440Hzのメンバー3人も一緒に参加します。乗換えのモスクワシェレメティボ空港でも写真を撮るなど、それぞれに時間を有効に使っています。モスクワと言えばMIFS(モスクワ国際フィルムスクール)のある都市です。この5月25日に25周年のお祝いを盛大に開いたそうです。僕もビデオメッセージで参加しました。

We have International Democratic Education Conference (IDEC) in Finland this June. I join this IDEC with graduates of Shure University who run the social enterprise "Creators 440Hz". To save the buget, we used the flights via Moscow. This picture was in Moscow air port. As for Moscow, Moscow International Film School celebrated their 25th anniversary about a week ago. I joined through vide message.
