世界デモクラシーフォーラム⑩ / World Forum for Democracy 10

大会の最後には今回の発表者の中から最優秀発表を選ぶというセレモニーがありました。僕はディスカスタントというシンポジストのような役回りなので対象になりませんでしたが、60近い発表の中から主催者側から3つ選ばれており、その3者の発表を聞いて投票をしてその場で一つだけ、賞を贈呈する企画を決めるのです。たくさんのの参加者は欧州評議会の議員席に座っていますから、その参加者たちが議員が投票で使う電子ボタンを使って投票するのです。投票は即時に大画面に表示され結果が参加者全員にわかるという仕組みです。僕も議場にいたので、投票しました。結果は、ドイツの難民の人たちなどを対象としたネットを使った大学教育のプログラムが受賞しました。デモクラシーの大会だけに、デモクラティックに賞も決定するということのようでした。
At the closing ceremony three initiatives already chosen by the organizer in advance were introduced and these three project people expalain about their activities. Then the participants at the hall voted to chose one award activity. We used the electric buttons which the Members of European Council use. Instantly the result was shown on the huge monitoers in front of us. The German initiative providing higher education programme through the internet for the refuree people were awarded. This forum is about democracy. So, the award is also decided by democratic way. That looks the idea of the organizer.
